Baby Elliot's Shower

We put on Sugar and Spice themed shower for my friend Megan and baby Elliot. Her room colors are emerald green, pink and grey. I free handed the chalkboard for the table decorations, and I made "sugar" and "spice" signs for the food. We had nachos, her favorite, for the spice and an ice-cream bar for the sugar. I also designed "wishes for baby," which we placed in a journal for her. It turned out super cute!

Home Anniversary

I can't believe it has been one year since we moved into our first home and got little Bentley! This year has been one of the best of our lives, and this is just the beginning. I'm so excited to see what this next year will bring.

Staffer Profile

I'm the Meet a Staffer in this month's issue of 417 Magazine :)

FMO Booklet

April was a fun issue. I was in charge of a neat project for Farmers Market of the Ozarks. I created an 8-page mini publication that tipped on their full-page ad in the magazine that I designed. The booklets will be available at the market as well to use as a guide. I'm excited to use it and check out all of the great vendors :)

I don't bake much, but I really like to. Here is a mini heart cake and cupcakes I baked with toppers I made. Can't wait to try them!

Product Features

Here are the product features I've done so far for 417 Magazine. I enjoy putting these together. It's such a fun, neat-looking section. Only a couple shops send print-ready photos in, so I get to take most of the photos.

Special Sections

Here is one of the special sections I designed for the January issue of 417 Magazine. During January, readers visited the participating restaurants, tried their wings and voted on 417mag.com. I had a lot of fun designing this section. It was a new promotion, so I was able to create everything from scratch. I designed the logo, layout/look, web campaign and the posters and tents that were displayed at the participating restaurants. I even got to try some of the wings during our photo shoots!

DIY

Here are a few of my latest projects at home. Yellow is my favorite decor color right now. I made this no-sew pillow with some material from my favorite fabric store. You wrap it around a pillow, and then tie it in a knot at the end. Easy and stylish!
I love my frame display. I'll probably add more vintage/rustic frames to it as I find them.
I spray painted these pine cones with gold glitter. It's a nice winter decor item.
